How do I actually use it — an API, or do I upload my certificates?
Neither. It's a dashboard you log into, like any SaaS — there's no API to integrate and nothing to write. You connect your existing SSL provider and control-panel accounts once (just your credentials), and from then on you order, validate, install and renew SSL right there. Your current domains and certificates are picked up automatically — nothing to upload or migrate.
Is this actually live, or am I joining a waitlist for something that doesn't exist yet?
It's live. SSL on Steroids is running in production today — issuing, installing, renewing and rescuing real certificates for resellers and hosts, hands-off. The only thing we're gating is access: we're opening it to a first group of teams, which is what the waitlist is for.
Do I have to switch SSL providers?
No — bring your own provider account and keep your pricing, relationships and margins; we just take the manual work off your hands. And if you ever want to go the other way and consolidate your renewals onto one preferred provider, we move them over for you automatically, at renewal time — no manual re-issuing.
Why not just use free Let's Encrypt certificates?
You still can — but plenty of customers want paid DV, OV or EV certificates with warranties and recognised brands. We automate those the same hands-off way, across multiple providers, and let you resell them under your own brand.
Will it work with my control panels and DNS?
If you're on DirectAdmin, cPanel, Plesk or ISPmanager — and Cloudflare or bunny.net for DNS — you're covered. Connect them once and we handle everything behind the scenes.
